We took a vote and decided to make quarterly for the foreseeable future, although June and July, crashed laptop and server problems notwithstanding, have actually been rather quiet around the JMAe neck of the woods. Minor tweaks and changes are all Jules has been doing to the website.

It'll never last, you know! Jules can't sit still for more than a minute! And she keeps threatening to create a secondary website for our visitors who don't enable Java.

Curious, yet?! Stop by and see what Jules is up to!!

You just never know what she might think up next!

In the last few weeks, we have gotten quite a few calls and emails asking similar questions or posing similar problems. Some are about yarn; some about caring for afghans. There were even a couple about items we don't offer.

Jules is planning to add an
FAQ section
to the website in the next few weeks. Told you it wouldn't last! (Check out her column - she's a busy little bee.)

So, if you have any burning afghan, yarn, crochet, or website questions ~ drop her an email and your question could very well end up on the site.
(If you need a quick reply, just let Jules know.)

We're always interested in opinions of the website, so:

If you like the look, please let us know.

Let's see ~ what's new with me?

I'm still hobbling around with a fractured kneecap. Some days are good; some not so good. It seems that the more I move around, the better I do. Not easy for a lazy-daisy, let me tell you.

Had a wonderful trip to Colorado at the end of May. My daughter got married on the 31st and, thanks to her and her hubby, I was able to attend and spend some time with them in Fort Collins.

The wedding was at a beautiful country club near Golden, with an incredible view of the foothills as a backdrop. After 7 years in Arizona, I was afraid that I'd freeze to death at that altitude. But the weather was just perfect! As a matter of fact, by the time I got home, I ended up with a mild case of sun poisoning.

I haven't really kept in touch with the family, so seeing my nieces all grown up was quite a shock. My brother looked a little older, but I swear my sister-in-law hasn't aged a day! Must be that clean Colorado living!

It was great to get home - and tough to get back into a routine, even though I was only gone about a week. (Told you I was a lazy-daisy!) Mark transfered all of the pictures I took onto the laptop and then I managed, before getting them uploaded to my site, to crash the only computer in the house! Luckily, we had a neighbor with recovery disks.

But that didn't save the pictures. So, I've been bugging everyone who had a camera to send me their photos. Very, very sad ending to a beautiful week.

Since then, I've been keeping busy: blogging like a crazy person, writing articles, publicizing the website, updating my Squidoo lenses (there are 4 now), creating new products on Zazzle, and editing like a madwoman on Best Of The Web.

You'd think I'd be exhausted. Well, I guess I am, but I've also managed to turn my body-clock completely around. Wide awake at 2:00am; dead on my feet at noon!
Well, I never claimed to be normal, now did I?!
Enjoy the rest of the summer!
And don't forget to 'stop by' and say "HI".

Jules
