whogets.com
You have got to check out whogets.com - it is so cool. It's 'continuous online sweepstakes, with a twist'. You get to choose the item you would like to win, tell the world why you should win, and vote on who you believe should get the prize.
It's amazingly simple - and free - to join. And, the best part, no emails to deal with. Other than the One and only One, where you confirm your account.
The contests work in two steps:
Mike and I signed up for a great little camcorder to take on our family camping trip in a few weeks. But I know we'll be going back, over and over. Mike still wants those sunglasses and I have got my eye on a pair of Austrian Crystal Earrings or a new Comforter. Of course, there are shoes and handbags. Oooh, and Mark has been wanting to get a laptop, so that he can give the desktop to the kids.
Hmmmm . . . I think this is going to be my new favorite website! I'll bet it could be yours, too.

The contests work in two steps:
- Step One: Semi-finals. This phase usually lasts 7-14 days and any member can pick a prize and join the contest at this point. We read the rules, joined, and picked a contest in, maybe, 5 minutes. Couldn't be easier!
- Step Two: Finals. This part of the contest also lasts about 7-14 days. After the semi-final period, seven (7) contestants are randomly selected. At that point, they get to make a statement, telling why they want or need the prize and why they deserve to win. Fellow members cast their votes for a winner.
