Random Musings of a Curious Mind

"It is an old maxim of mine that when you have excluded the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

Dream Themes

The last few weeks, I have been having the same (or similar) dreams over and over. So I thought maybe I should see if they 'meant' anything. And, of course, got caught up in reading about different dreams.

Did you know that if you dream about your teeth falling out or crumbling, that it may be a sign that you're feeling powerless or unattractive? I find that really interesting, because I used to have those dreams all the time - in the midst of a really bad relationship where I was treated as very unattractive and had very little power over the situation.

Dreaming about school? I keep having this dream that I'm back in school, can't find my locker or remember the combination, and am missing important classes. School apparently means I have unresolved childhood insecurities and/or am going through a spiritual learning experience. The locker problems are supposed to indicate insecurity in a role or situation, while missing classes points to a fear of failing or anxieties. Sheesh! Looks like I'm just a mess. lol

Visiting a Cafeteria in your dreams may indicate issues that are 'eating' you up inside. A couple of times recently, I dreamed about being in a cafeteria where I couldn't find any food. Far from issues, I think I just shouldn't have gone to bed hungry. :-)

How about an Amusement Park? This dream may mean that you need more time for leisure and enjoyment. I used to have a nightmare about my kids disappearing in an amusement park. Don't think that had much to do with leisure.

Cars are supposed to be an indication of one's drive, ambition, and ability to navigate from one stage of life to another. I've been having this really weird dream about being unable to steer my car. Doesn't sound good, does it?

Frankly, I think it's time to either stop reading this stuff or make an appoinment with a shrink! lol
