Echo Malibu

With everything in the news these days about teens gone wild - alcoholism and drug abuse are rampant - it makes me wonder what I would do if my child were in trouble. Like it or not, some kids and teens with ADD/ADHD and other behavioral or emotional difficulties are more likely to engage in risky behaviors. As parents of challenged children, we have to be prepared to take action to help them, should the need arise.

There are many rehab programs out there which don't seem to work, think Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Ritchie, Britney Spears, Brad Renfro, and Paris Hilton. Echo Malibu is more than a teen drug rehab center. They believe in Empowerment, Choices, Hope, and Opportunities for adolescents and their families.

It's not enough to place a person with abuse problems into a center - no matter the length of time - if they aren't given the education, support, and tools to cope with peer pressure and maintain sobriety in the real world.
