Random Musings of a Curious Mind

"It is an old maxim of mine that when you have excluded the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

Whisper Mountain

Over the last couple of years, Mark and I have been seriously looking into buying a home. We miss having four seasons, hate throwing away so much money in rent every month, and would love to get out of the city, so anywhere in the country is fair game.

I've been searching, among other areas, Charlotte Real Estate, which offers some tremendous properties and got me seriously interested in the area. It's actually exciting, how much more space we could get for the same amount we kiss goodbye in rent!

Today, I fell in love with a really beautiful Asheville Property called Whisper Mountain. At elevations of 2,700 to 3,800 feet, the homesites overlook magnificent Mt. Mitchell, the Pisgah National Forest, and even downtown Asheville. But, what attracted me most is their green agenda. I've lived in too many places that sacrifice the environment in order to throw up a bunch of cookie-cutter houses. At Whisper Mountain, each of the beautiful wooded lots has been thoughtfully planned, with full regard for environmental preservation. They have created homesites, trails, and many other exclusive amenities that tread lightly on the earth. Why would you want to throw away hundreds of dollars a month in rent, when you could own a beautiful home in such an incredible development?

Not sure what you can afford? No problem. Compare Mortgage Rates and get matched with lenders who can help, no matter where in the country you're looking to buy. The quick, easy form takes almost no time to complete and will help start the process, whether you're looking to refinance, buy a home, or consolidate debt.
