National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM)
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month(NBCAM).
What you may not know is that NBCAM is also the name of an organization, dedicated to increasing awareness of breast cancer issues, especially the importance of early detection. They are focused on encouraging women to take charge of their own breast health, by practicing regular self-breast exams, making sure to schedule an annual mammogram, adhering to prescribed treatment and knowing the facts about recurrence. While many strides have been made in awareness and treatment, more still needs to be accomplished.
Toward that end, one of our favorite Affiliate Partners ~ Limoges Jewelry ~ is donating 5% of the proceeds from their Breast Cancer Awareness Collection to BreastCancer.org.
