Yoga
I was channel-surfing with my coffee this morning and found Inhale on the Oxygen channel. It was positively amazing!
Don't get me wrong, I've seen TV yoga programs before and even took yoga classes about 25 years ago. I actually did rather well, being (once upon a time) very flexible. But this instructor is positively 'rubbery'. Some of the students in his class are also incredibly flexible.
What's nice about the show is that many of the students aren't rubber-people, so they demonstrate alternate positions for beginners or us old folks who don't currently bend that way. The instructor uses great music and has a witty delivery that, despite the hard work, makes the class seem like a great deal of fun.
I can't do aerobic exercise, but I am seriously considering getting up at 6:00am on a regular basis to spend an hour investing in my physical health and mental wellbeing. For a night person, that says a lot.
