Random Musings of a Curious Mind

"It is an old maxim of mine that when you have excluded the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

Mad Gringo

Now this is a fun site! With just the right attitude about life - "Go Slow!" The philosophy is simple, we all have a Mad Gringo inside us who is fed up with stress, commuting, and dressing up for work. All he wants to do is chuck the whole rat race thing and take a nap on the beach. Can't you hear his voice in your ear - "Psst! Let's find a hammock and an umbrella drink - Now!"

If you can't just stand up and walk out in reality, why not compromise? Every now and then, throw on your favorite hawaiian shirt, turn off the phone, and watch the sunset. Can't go slow? Vow to, at least, go slower. Make time to take time and kick the stress out the door.

I've taken the first step to getting in touch with my inner Mad Gringo by choosing the perfect Hawaiian shirt for me. This wasn't as simple as I thought it would be. Each shirt has its own fascinating story that immediately transported me to a relaxing place far, far away. When I finally made it back, I found Jungle Falls. The blues, greens, and purples create a pattern that made me think of wandering through a clearing in the jungle, only to find a waterfall cascading behind a wall of flowering vines.

Tucked into my favorite pair of jeans, this hawaiian shirt is my ticket to paradise. Running errands, getting the car washed, or shopping for groceries, I'm always a heartbeat away from my hammock and umbrella drink. My inner Mad Gringo will be so proud.

Whatever you do, don't ignore your Mad Gringo. He just might do something crazy.
