Random Musings of a Curious Mind

Moonlight Kennels

Although I would probably characterize myself as a cat person, I do have a soft spot for the smaller dog breeds, like Yorkshire Terrier puppies and Miniature Schnauzers. They are so cute, I don't know how anyone can resist those adorable furry faces. Just look at these precious babies.

I'm not an expert, but I do know that purebred animals can have serious health and behavior problems when the breeder isn't dedicated to the quality of the breed. That's why I greatly appreciate all of the information on the Moonlight Kennels website. They provide a basic overview, including personality traits, appearance, grooming and exercise needs, and breed origins. In addition, there is an extensive library of articles that address topics from care and feeding to puppy-proofing your home to medical and training information.

One of the articles that caught my attention was the information about Teacup Yorkies. These dogs are supposed to be even smaller than the breed standard, weighing in at about 4 pounds, fully grown. What I didn't know was that there is no such recognized breed. Potential 'puppy parents' should take time to read this article and arm themselves with knowledge before visiting breeders or kennels.

If you're looking for a puppy and need to make an informed decision, this is the site for you.
