Park West Gallery ®

One of the most beautiful galleries I've ever seen is the Park West Art Gallery in Southfield, Michigan. If you've never seen the gallery in person, no picture can do it justice. Located on a 3 1/2 acre site that includes a natural pond and a sculpture garden, the 63,000 square foot facility is a Greco-Roman showcase with 23 exhibition galleries. There is a granite walkway surrounding the building, under a portico that's held up with stone columns, offering a glimpse into 23 different display windows.

Every week, over 6,000 works of art are cataloged, photographed, custom framed, checked, and registered. Several times each year, they present large-scale exhibits of masters and contemporary artists. Over the years, Peter Max, Itzchak Tarkay, Marcel Mouly, Linda LeKinff, Igor Medvedev, Fanch Ledan, the animators, Chuck Jones, Charles and Thomas McKimson, among others, have made personal appearances at the Park West Gallery ®.
