Wedding Dilemma
I am in the process of trying to put together a wardrobe for my daughter's wedding next month. Suffice it to say, I haven't dressed up in a very long time and I've never been mother-of-the-bride, so I'm in a bit of a quandary My nicest outfit will work for the rehearsal dinner, but not (obviously) for the wedding. Egad! What's a mom to do?One of the problems is that it's an afternoon wedding, but all of the female attendants are wearing long dresses. Adding to my quandary, it isn't truly a formal wedding. Then, add in the fact that May in Colorado is not anywhere the same weather as May in Arizona. So, I have to find something appropriate in which I won't freeze to death.
Then, there's jewelry which, as it turns out, was the easiest part of my shopping expedition. I managed to find the most beautiful necklace and earrings in lavender freshwater pearls.
Keep watching this blog - find out if I end up attending in lovely pearls - and ratty jeans! (Just kidding, honey!)
