Teenagers ~ Part II
Well, just when I thought Friday's stunt was as bad as it could get - it got worse. I should have known there was going to be a problem, but I still didn't see this one coming. Common wisdom dictates that if one says "Well, it can't get any worse," it will get worse. That's why it's common and wisdom - it's generally true.Michael was to see his mom Friday night, coming home Saturday morning. Well, he didn't show up Saturday morning, didn't answer his phone, and Mom was unreachable as well. To make a long story short, he finally got home about 2 hours ago. But . . . Mom didn't bring him; she's at work. She had 'a friend' bring Michael home.
We have been crazed all weekend. Little did we know how much was going on. Given what has been happening behind our backs - we should have been ballistic!
Today, we found out that Mom has broken all of the rules that were set up for her visits with Michael - from having a clean, safe apartment where he can see her to not having him around people we don't know. She immediately moved out of her apartment after our last court date, without telling anyone, and moved in with 'a friend'.
I'm so upset right now, I can't think straight. All I do know - if this continues, it's going to be a very long and stressful summer.
