Betancourt and 3 Americans Freed From FARC
I have been following this story off and on. To say the least, I was thrilled to hear that this rescue happened.
"Colombian spies tricked leftist rebels into handing over kidnapped presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt and three U.S. military contractors Wednesday in a daring helicopter rescue so successful that not a single shot was fired."
Please join me in rejoicing over the rescue of these four people, as well as the Columbian police who were also freed.
