Crocheted in a looser weave than Cozy Afghan 001, this Afghan is perfect for those who want the warmth, without the weight. As a crib blanket, it would be ideal!
Unlike other Afghans, one side of this Afghan is crocheted onto the 'bottom' of the other half. There are no alternate stitches or inside borders. Cozy Afghan 002 has no outside border. (The stripes run vertically in the rectangular sizes.)
In a solid or variegated yarn, this Afghan becomes a lighter version of Cozy Afghan 001. Personally, I recommend the pattern you see in the picture, a solid color yarn accented with one of the Variegated yarns.
It's a beautiful look that works with virtually any decor, and would make a dramatically different option for baby's room.
