Afghan Yarn Options

Note: We are no longer offering pages of sample yarn colors.

By trying to list yarns and colors that we believed our visitors would love, we had to limit what we shared. Not to mention, because manufacturers love to change product lines - adding and removing colors on a regular basis - our yarn swatches weren't always up to date.

To remedy that problem, we are (as of November 1, 2011) now letting our customers choose any yarn style(s) and color(s) from our favorite manufacturers.

Let's add some Color(s) to Your Style.

We use, and recommend, the Caron Simply Soft, Red Heart Fiesta and SuperSaver, and Bernat Baybee yarns for the products and projects found at JMark Afghans, etc. The yarn colors and quality are consistent from skein to skein. And the prices keep the cost of our hand-crocheted items reasonable.

Most importantly, these yarns allow us to make an Afghan, or Hat, or Shawl, or Baby Layette ~ anything and everything ~ that will be more than a gift: it will be a family heirloom, proudly passed from generation to generation.

To pick the yarn color(s) that are just right for your order:

  1. Simply visit manufacturers' websites (Available on each order page ~ Open in new window/tab):
  2. Find the Perfect Color(s) for your order
    • Remember: if the item you're ordering comes in two (2) colors, you need to choose (and enter) both colors in the order form.

  3. Enter the manufacturer code, color number, and color name in the box on the order form (For example):
    • CSS 0010 Cypress for Caron Simply Soft® Cypress Green
    • RHSS 792 Sandy Print for Red Heart Super Saver Sandy Print Variegated

(Due to differences in computer displays, yarn colors may appear differently on different systems.) If you are ever unsure about a yarn color, please visit your local craft store to see the yarn 'live', before ordering.

JMark Afghans, etc. stands behind the quality of our afghans (see our Policy Page). If you have a favorite yarn that you would like us to use for your custom-designed afghan, please let us know. However, if you ship yarns that are not recommended, I cannot guarantee the finished product.
